This Christmas at Centrepoint, homeless young people like Alex had a place to call home.
Thanks to the generosity of people like you 779 homeless young people had a hot meal, a warm bed and a roof over their heads at Centrepoint during the Christmas period.

With £332,562 raised through our Home for Christmas appeal - that's £39,834 more than expected - our charity was able to keep homeless young people safe from the dangers of the freezing streets, and to remind them what hope felt like again. With the extra money raised, we can offer help far into 2011 too. Even now, each and every one of those homeless young people is taking the first tentative steps on a journey that will set their lives right for good. |

A better life for homeless young people at Christmas and beyond Christmas at Centrepoint won't simply mend a homeless young person's broken life - but it's a great place to start. With the Home for Christmas appeal boosted by the purchase of countless Centrepoint virtual gifts, we gave homeless young people a Christmas day to remember including presents, a traditional turkey dinner and lots of smiles. But that's only half the story for a homeless charity like ours. Centrepoint can now start the hard work of getting homeless young people back on their feet for good through training, care and ongoing support. |

As a homeless charity, Centrepoint relies on the support of its donors With the continued backing of Centrepoint supporters including room sponsors, legacy pledgers, shares donors, virtual gift buyers and more, Centrepoint can go on working to make youth homelessness a thing of the past. And that's all any homeless young person could ask for. |
