"Homelessness won't stop me getting a job.
But the cost of my course fees might"

Jonah Miles, Centrepoint Bursary Applicant

Help us support homeless young people on the final stages of a journey to independence.

For most of us, the biggest obstacle to getting into employment or education is having the right CV or training. For homeless young people, it's often a lifetime of fear, violence and neglect.

The Centrepoint bursary appeal was set up to help homeless young people take positive action towards education or employment. It means that once they've conquered the seemingly impossible challenges of homelessness and are ready to take the final steps to independence, they're not held back by the cost of a bus pass or course fees. But without your help we simply wouldn't be able to support homeless young people at this crucial stage of their journey.

We receive around 50 bursary applications every month. Read one of them here.

Abi survived a terrifying childhood wrecked by homelessness and has just landed her first job. Read her story here.

The Centrepoint bursaries programme is funded separately from the rest of our charity work, so your gift is guaranteed to help a homeless young person make the final few steps to employment or education. Please give whatever you can today.

We hope to raise a total of £54,779 from this appeal. If we exceed this target, any additional funds will go towards other vital services for homeless young people like Abi. Thank you for your kind support.
